WHEN & WHERE IS SONIC FIELD DAY?

Sonic Field Day takes place both September 7th & 8th From 12:00pm to 10:30pm and is located at the Heritage Amphitheatre inside Hawrelak Park (9330 Groat Rd NW, Edmonton, AB).

WHAT ABOUT PARKING?

Public Parking is very limited at Hawrelak Park and will be on a first come first serve basis. It is encouraged when driving that event goers carpool together.

ARE LOCKERS AVAILABLE ON SITE?

No there will not be lockers on-site, please only bring what you can comfortably carry on you for the day.

WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINK?

Yes, there will be several food options for all dietary needs available, in addition to bar service areas on-site.

HOW CAN I PAY ON-SITE?

Box Office, Merchandise and Food are all Cash Only. You however can use Debit, Credit, or Cash at the Bar Service Areas. ATMS will be conveniently located around the event for your use.

ACCESSIBILITY SEATING

There will be a designated viewing area for any persons who may use a wheelchair or require special seating consideration.

CAN I BRING IN A CHAIR?

No lawn chairs of any shape size or form will be permitted on-site. However the event grounds are made up of both fixed general admission seating in addition to standing room. Want to enjoy the grassy areas? We encourage you to bring a blanket!

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO ATTEND?

All Ages are welcome to Sonic Field Day, in fact children under 6 age get in for free!

ARE YOU ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE EVENT AND COME BACK?

In and Outs will not be permitted during the festival.

WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR PURCHASING ALCOHOL AT SFD?

Alcoholic beverages can be purchased at bar service points. Guests are welcome to enjoy their drink throughout the the amphitheater grounds free of any “beer garden”. All customers can only be served 2 drinks per person at one time & must be 18 years of age or older to purchase. Please remember to bring valid photo ID.

HOW DO I GET TO THE FESTIVAL?

Hawrelak Park is located along the River Valley, we encourage guests to bike, walk, take the park-n-ride service, cab, or Uber.

IS THERE PARK & RIDE SERVICE?

YES!

Park n ride shuttle service offered by Stock Transportation at Windsor Car Park, located on 116th St. and just north of 92nd Ave at the University of Alberta. View On Map

Shuttles will run approx every 15 minutes

Parking at Windsor Car Park is $5.50 per day, both Saturday and Sunday

Parking technology in place using the Honk mobile app that may be downloaded from https://www.honkmobile.com/

OR

Honk tap n go located at the parkade entrance – just scan your phone and pay as you go

OR

At the paystations located just outside the parking structure, pay with coin or credit card

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

SONiC Field Day and CRASH hotel have partnered to offer discounted rates to ticket buyers off any rooms booked between September 05- September 09 2019. Rooms must be booked directly through CRASH HOTEL, website, phone, email, for the promo code to work.

WHAT IS THE SEARCH POLICY?

All event goers will be subject to a pat down and bag search for any prohibited items when entering into the festival.

CAN I BRING AN EMPTY WATER BOTTLE INSIDE?

Yes, you each person is permitted to bring in one empty reusable water bottle. The festival will have a water bottle re-fill station to keep you hydrated
